- Jay Vandervort★ ★ ★ ★ ★I don't usually take the time to write a review, but it's time I show Monro on Western Ave. in Guilderland some love. I have been dealing with this location for over 15 years now, and that encompasses probably about 10-12 family vehicles. Every single Manager they have had in those 15 years, has been excellent to deal with. Currently, there are two Mangers there, both named Jim, and I have to say I have never had better service at ANY car dealer or repair shop in the Capital District. They have earned my trust, which is hard to do in the car repair business. Instead of looking for ways to sell you stuff you don't need, they work with you for the most cost-effective solution. I have never had a complaint, and I don't expect to ever have one either. I suggest if you are in their area, to give them a shot the next time your car needs service, you will not be disappointed. Ask for Jim (either one).
